International Literacy Day

International Literacy Day, initiated by UNESCO, is celebrated around the world to emphasize the importance of literacy in today’s world. Students and staff celebrated it at ICNZ with activities such as Find the Missing Word, News Reporting Exercise and Tell your Story. It was an enjoyable experience of games, writing and display of student’s work.

All Izz Well –

all ICNZ students and staff were invited to partake in a Well-being Workshop “All Izzz Well” organized by the Auckland Indian Association and Ella Kumar. The workshop included stalls and talks by different health and fitness organizations. Students participated in various fun exercises and had the opportunity to win prizes and even get checked for Diabetes by Diabetes New Zealand.

Loud Shirt day

Students at ICNZ supported the cause by raising a total of $565

allLoud Shirt Day is an event initiated by The Hearing House and the Southern Cochlear Implant Paediatric Programme to raise funds for hearing aids for deaf children. Students at ICNZ supported the cause by raising a total of $. This was done through various stalls of food, confectionery and nail art. Everyone was dressed in bright colours and took part in Designing T-shirt contest.

Tutor Focus

allOur tutors at ICNZ are examples of the high standards maintained at ICNZ. We would like to congratulate our tutors Maria and Sangeetha on achieving Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.

Nutrition Workshop with Ella Kumar:

As the saying goes, “The greatest wealth is Health”, it is important to eat healthy and stay active. Ella Kumar, a visiting guest speaker and Lifestyle Coordinator presented on how to make better choices in terms of food and exercise.
